Thinkpad

One of the many reasons I am glad to have a Thinkpad: Stinkpads will never change. It's a good read.

Other reasons include:

• Linux compatibility, it Just Works^TM
  
• Simple, yet appealing design
  
• Durable construction
  
• Powerful, yet small and portable
  
• Reliable, no downtime unless I ask for it
  
• The Trackpoint, fondly referred to as a 'nub'

If only I could have another... not out of necessity, but for fun.
